Dr. Wendy Day
Dr. Wendy Day was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 in the same class as Dr. Andersen. While at LSU, Dr. Day was a caretaker for resident tiger mascots Mike V and Mike VI.
Dr. Day joined the team at Garden District Animal Hospital in 2016. She also currently works relief for several veterinary hospitals in Baton Rouge. Dr. Day’s particular interests in the field of veterinary medicine are dentistry, ophthalmology, soft tissue surgery, and emergency care.
Dr. Day is married to Rusty, and they have a daughter named Rayne. Her pet family includes 3 dogs (Ruger, Trigger, and Baci), 4 cats (Smudge, Riley, Maya, and V), and a tortoise (Chel).
