Our Staff
Keith: Practice Manager
Keith joined the GDAH family in February 2014. Keith started working with companion animals in 2007 as a kennel aid for a breeder before moving into a veterinary clinic, where his passion for compassionate quality care began to grow. Keith worked for a few clinics around Baton Rouge before finding his home with GDAH. He has two young boys with his wife Jamie that keep him fully occupied outside of his time at the clinic.
Taylor: Vet Assistant/Receptionist
Since 2017, Taylor has been a highly motivated team member at Garden District Animal Hospital. She is from the Gonzales area and is currently at Louisiana State University studying Animal Science. She hopes to apply to the veterinary medicine program in 2019. Taylor lives with her parents, five dogs, and one cat. In her downtime, Taylor enjoys shopping, outdoor activities, swimming and playing with her dogs.
Sydney
Sydney joined the staff at Garden District Animal Hospital in 2022. She graduated from Destrehan High School in 2020, and she is currently attending Louisiana State University studying Animal Science. Sydney hopes to apply to LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in the Fall of 2023. Sydney has one cat named Oddy and a Syrian hamster named Maple. In her free time, she enjoys weightlifting, baking, and going to concerts.
Delaney
Delaney graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy and is currently studying for a degree in Renewable Natural Resources at Louisiana State University. Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Delaney has two older sisters, Darby and Dale, and a 7 year old domestic short haired tuxedo cat named Kibbi. Her work experience with animals includes volunteering at Cat Haven, Companion Animal Alliance, FOTA, and pet sitting. In her free time, Delaney enjoys photography, reading, outdoor activities, gardening, and hanging out with family and friends.
Jennie: Veterinary Assistant
Jennie joined the Garden District Animal Hospital family in 2022. She is currently majoring in animal sciences at LSU and has a double minor of biological sciences as well as agriculture. In her free time, she enjoys teaching her cats tricks and relaxing with family and friends.
Nikki: Veterinary Assistant
Nikki joined the GDAH family in October of 2022. She is a proud cat mom to 4 precious cats. Nikki graduated LSU in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in animal sciences. When she’s not at work she plays pool with a local pool league and enjoys relaxed evenings with friends and family.
Ingrid: Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant
Ingrid joined the GDAH family in August of 2022. She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in animal science at LSU with hopes of attending LSU Vet School. She spends her free time volunteering at the zoo, studying and working out.
Andrea: Receptionist
Andrea joined the GDAH family in October of 2023. She is a proud pet parent to a sweet English bulldog named Ruby, two rabbits named Bear and August, and a hamster named Megan. She is a Psychology major at LSU and enjoys quality time with her friends and family as well as crocheting in her spare time.
Bagheera - Clinic Cat
Bagheera was rescued by the clinic and has been with Garden District since 2017. She is calm and captivating.
Baloo - Clinic Cat
Baloo is a Persian cat that was born October 2021. She is fun and feisty.
